Our Story

It all started in 2000 when my grandmother was diagnosed with Lung cancer. My family followed the advice of her care team and hired an agency to help with her care. Let’s just say it did not go well. We never knew who, if anyone, was coming. There was little to no communication from office staff. My family was training a new caregiver constantly. I was having to stay home from work on those days to care for her. In those five months, I realized that providing end-of-life care and all that entailed was my life’s calling. I gave up my career as  a medical assistant to become a caregiver. I spent the next 15 years working my way up through the ranks until I became Agency Director. Since I have been both the client and the agency, I bring a unique understanding of what you are facing when making the homecare decision. I understand that care is not a one-size-fits-all plan.
